SYNERJIX DISTRIBUTED AND MANAGED KIOSKS
The Synerjix Distributed and Managed Information Kiosks are derived from how retail store chains manage and control their nationwide or sometime globally distributed stores from one central home office. The following are some concepts that we based our Kiosk modelling and functionality.
Simple, modular, automatic, manageable - SOA architecture
Centrally controlled - individually managed
Able to handle rich content/media - fast & responsive
Able to manage content input by multiple designated sources
Able to securely integrate with - application data
Interactive and able to provide information to "take away"
Secure against the threats of internet vulnerability
Configurable and manageable from remote locations
Able to exchange statistical data to measure effectiveness
Scalable, affordable and quick to market
We also ensured that Information Kiosks should not be any of the following:
PC in a box - always connected to the internet
Non-interactive or slow to user response
Complex and cumbersome to maintain content
In need of constant manual attention & maintenance
Unable to measure effectiveness of desired results
Lacking in scalability (expensive to implement & maintain)
Disconnected, non-modular and slow to implement
Synerjix has established strategic partnerships with manufacturers of Kiosk enclosure, hardware and other peripherals and there is a variety of options to choose from.
INFORMATIONAL KIOSKS
The following are key attributes of Synerjix Informational Kiosk Models:
Kiosks are self-contained and connectivity to the Internet is made on demand, only when there is a need to sync information between the kiosks and content server entities
Kiosks are centrally configured, managed and administered by a web-based "infrastructure management" suite
Content providers (users) are administered, managed and authenticated on specific kiosks and applications by a web-based "user management" suite
Includes user-level "content management" application to automatically authenticate users and deploy content
Captures and share statistical usage information with users
Automatically alerts administrators on kiosk performance
SELF SERVICE KIOSKS
In addition to Information Kiosk features, The following are additional attributes of Synerjix Self Service Kiosk Models:
Deployment and capture of dynamic content in the form of databases and XML files
Integration of kiosk functionality and data exchange with enterprise-wide applications and systems
Additional custom security measures to comply with identity theft and information security
MISCELLANEOUS KIOSK APPLICATIONS
The following are a few examples of Synerjix Self Service Kiosk applications:
Store-within-a-store functionality and POS integration for retail environments including custom surveys, item management, item pricing and credit card swiping
Easy set-up and quick implementation of directory listing, event check in and marketing bundle for expos/trade shows
